Introducing Xapo’s new experience

April 8, 2019

We’re thrilled that you finally get to see what we’ve been working on for the past few months! As part of our rebrand project, we’re releasing our revamped Android, iOS, and web apps which include exciting and refreshing new features. We’ve started the global rollout of the new app and it should reach you in the coming weeks 🤩.

What’s new

As soon as you open your Xapo app, you’ll discover that we have a new navigation with five featured categories. We’ll briefly go over each one of them so you can start enjoying the new Xapo right away!

My Money

This is your main spending account and your go-to section when handling your money. From here, you can manage different balances or currencies and start transactions like moving money between your accounts, exchanging currencies, or withdrawing funds.

Remember that this is your main spending account, but there’s no limit as of how many spending or savings accounts (Vaults) you can have. If you’re wondering how these changes will affect your current account structure, we wrote this article to guide you.

Accounts and balances

Your spending accounts and savings accounts (Vaults) allow you to organize and separate your money according to your financial goals. To create a new account, go to the top right corner and create the type of account that best suits your needs. Give your new account a name and if it’s convenient, share it with people you trust to co-manage your finances.

Each one of your accounts can hold multiple balances which are automatically created when you add or receive money in a different currency. Multiple accounts with multiple currencies, talk about options!

Move and Exchange

At Xapo, we give you complete freedom over your money and how you use it. Move your money between your accounts for free or use the exchange feature to buy and sell different currencies, including bitcoins.

We decided to make sending money easier and faster, so we created a dedicated section to send and receive payments. Simply select the payment method and start a transaction. Easily transfer money to a bank account, phone contact, email, or BTC address from your new Payments tab.

Even though we kept the chat section right where it was, we gave it a fresh new look with our rebranded style. As before, our chat is not only helpful to stay in contact with other Xapo users but also to start transactions from any chat conversation or by creating a new one.

This new section includes everything you need to know to keep up with your account’s activity. From transaction details and statuses to pending items and missing actions; stay worry-free and up to date with your money!

Now it’s your time to experience the new Xapo. If you need help, have questions or would like to share your thoughts regarding our newly developed features, feel free to reach out to us. We can’t wait to hear from you!
